Simply put, ClickLock is secure email made easy. Unfortunately, email today is not very secure. It was designed in the early days of the Internet when everybody knew everybody and nobody nefarious had access to it.
Attempts to make it secure have been horribly difficult to use, requiring deep knowledge of security magic involving lots of accounts and passing of keys.
ClickLock has simplified this process, bringing secure email messaging to everybody.
ClickLock treats email as two distinct things:
1. The information you put in the message. This information is encrypted and stored in a safe location where only the indended recipients can view it.
2. The envelope that lets you know a message exists. This continues to be sent through the email system, letting anybody who receives a message know how to receive it.
You already have an account that you've authenticated with: your email account. Since you can access your email, ClickLock knows who you are, saving you from needing to create yet another account and password.
The ClickLock extension is a small piece of software that adds functionality to your web browser. Once installed, ClickLock messages you receive will be displayed in your inbox like any other message.
Receiving messages is always and will always be free.
During our pre-beta, you may send message for free. ClickLock will provide multiple plans, from free to the enterprise.
During our pre-beta period, we will store messages for 30 days.

If your email client or browser is not yet supported, you can still read secure messages you receive using just your browser.
ClickLock will also provide a secure web viewer that enables anybody to receive messages, regardless of which email server, email client, operating system, or browser they use.
